Had bad experience with the crew of the boat.
Bought a ticket from Bali to Lembogan island one ways for 250.000 vnd. The crew on the boat forced me to put my bag on the back of the boat despite the fact that there were not more than 20 customers. But 5 crew members. Later I saw the guy on the photo sitting next to my bag. After arrival my my hotel, found out that some cash was missing from my purse. After calling on land manager, we set the meeting. Later me checked the cameras, and they didn't work that day for any reason. After putting all the fact together the management of the company return my money back. And promised to go some work with the crew, to solve the issues. I think management is trying their best, however they can't manage the crew and Capitan of the boat, that are probably sharing stolen money between the boat crew members.
So be careful with your belongings, keep all valuable things with you, don't leave your bags anywhere, don't listen to boat crew, otherwise gonna have a trouble.

DO NOT TRAVEL WITH TAMARIND EXPRESS!! We booked round trip tickets at Sanur and they told us as well as WROTE ON OUR TICKET that they would pick us up from our homestay back to the port on Lembongan between 3-3:30pm the next day for the 4pm boat. When they didn't arrive at 3:35 the receptionist called them and they said they don't offer transport to the port and we had to get there on our own so they LIED to us?! We ended up flagging down transport and arrived at the port as the boat was leaving. Horrible experience I would give 0 stars if I could.

Terrible experience. On the way to nusa as well as on the way back. On the way to nusa the engines stopped suddenly in the middle of very high waves. At one point waves even started smashing over the boat and water came inside the boat. We felt so sick and scared when we finally arrived on nusa lembongan. On the way back to Bali the engines stopped suddenly, twice, and were just not turned on again for a while every time. Thankfully we didn't lose any valuable but this have been actual disastrous boat rides.

Ok. No one took my stuff. You can take your shoes in your own bag if you are worried of them. Very little space inside the boat. Very hot and smelly. Nothing new. I was a bit worried of the speed. But guess what our engines were cutting out all journey. A bit worrying when they stall in the middle of the crossing and they try to start it again for 10-15min. That happened 4 times. I think we were going half speed eventually. Which was ok. Also paid for public speed boat. But ended up on tamarind. Paid 200, where if you buy at tamarind direct it's 150. Way back we didn't pre-book incase they don't turn up. Return is on another boat company. 175. Marginally ok, as pretty much anything safety related in Indonesia.

Extremely good service. Right from picking us from the hostel in Bali to the boat transfer, and then drop off at the hostel in Nusa Lembongan was on time. Had similar experience on the way back to the airport. Highly recommended!
