Worst boat experience ever! Run away!
Staff is kind and speaks English but BIG organization problems.
- no pontoon then we need to go in the water (half body) to jump inside the boat. in case of low tide, prepare to walk a hundred meters with your luggage on the corrals. do not take valuables/electronics with you!
- No clear instructions when is boarding time
In conclusion:
1 hour late to go in nusa penida
2,5 hours late to come back in Bali
Be careful, it’s not easy to do with young people, i recommend an other service provider

My brand new surfboard got damaged on the journey. The travel bag is well padded and has a big sticker on it saying fragile! They clearly ignored this and must of piled luggage on top of it cause it’s cracked and has pressure marks all along the top. Would not recommend travelling with this boat if you have valuables you don’t want to be damaged!!

The journey was also a lot longer then a they stated it to be think it took around 4.5 hours not 3.

I am not quite sure why other people have put the below comments.

The organisation was spot on!! They were looking after the passengers. They left at the exact specified time on the timetable. On our return journey, they checked all passengers who were supposed to be ok the boat and as all of us were there half an hour earlier (as requested on the tickets) and we left even earlier which was great as we had plans for the evening!!!

We didn’t get wet, we had to go in the water which was maximum depth below the knees and as you’re going to another island, I don’t consider getting a bit wet as an issue!

Overall, me and the people I went with are very very customers!!

The small boat that would take us to the cruise back was late (because of low tide you could not get directly onto the cruise and had to walk barefeer over rocks in the water knee-deep). It then hit several rocks and passengers had to push the small boat over the rocks several time. Finally loose they managed to destroy the engine. In the end, the cruise itself had to resue us and we left for Bali 75 minutes late.

Pretty chaotic, they always change the boat and send you somewhere else. On some harbours the office is not that easy to find so make sure to be there on time. Also expect to get wet when getting out of the boat. We got to our destination only 15-30 minute late, so it's okay. It's also a good price

Just don't chosse this horrible company!!! I had the worst experience ever and almost landed in the ocean. They drove with a broken engine and we almost couldn't make it back. And the worst thing, they knew about it. Then they said okay we will arrange a new boat but they wasn't. So we had to go by ferry, by a 2 hours bus ride and then we made it to gili after a 12 hours journey..just choose another company for your own safety!

(This was from Nusa Penida to Sanur). First you have to walk through the sea with rocks sharp as glass. I was bare feeted so it was very painful. Next they threw all 40 ppl in a small boat, to take us to the fast boat. The boat got stuck on the shallow sea bed, because there were too many ppl on it. Then it got stuck on a rock. Then on another rock. They made passengers help, because they couldnt get the boat loose themselves. When we were finally clear, the engine died after 1 min. We had to wait about 15 min for the fast boat to pick us up. Scheduled departure time was 5pm. Actual departure time: 6.15pm. We arrived at 7pm in Sanur on a pitch black beach, no lights anywhere. Starfish company and crew is a bunch of amateurs, never book this!
