Went for a day tour to Nusa Penida island. One of the tour agents I approached online(who was based out of Nusa Penida) booked my speed boat through Idola(return tickets). They actually have a pretty decent service. The boats are really good and run right on time. One should be aware that since there is no harbour at sanur, you will have to walk about 30 yards in water to get in the speed boat. The staff helps the people, so no issues there. The pics I am posting here are of the Nusa Penida Island Harbour.

In general, grab or cab will drop you at the entrance of the main road but you have to walk for a short distance to get to the beach side with plenty of fast boat counters. Along the way, you'll see plenty of kiosks, shops and personnel selling fast boat tickets to lembongan and peninda island. Here are some of the tips:

1. The one that's far from the beachside where you see get to see massive counters selling tickets, those are the more expensive one.
2. The closer you are to the beachside, the price will go down significantly.
3. Do not take their offer unless you've bargained for it, take a walk away, and they'll come back to you with lower price.
4. Survey around and you'll find out much competitive price among different service providers.
5. As reference, round trip ticket is 250k for my trip to lembongan as compared to the first store which offers me 550k after a series of survey and negotiation.

Great fastboat service. We used Idola multiple times for our trip to Nusa Penida.

We took the tour to Nusa Penida using Idola Fast Boat.

They are very responsive since the very beginning and they give you good price as well, cheaper than most of the online tour available. Especially during the pandemic, they have special price and package for Nusa Penida tour, be it the West side or the East side.

We took the West side tour.. visiting Kelingking beach, Broken Beach and Angel's Billabong as well as Crystal Bay. We were picked up by private car and driver who is also a great tour guide. Bli Gede is our tour guide/drives and He is very helpful indeed.

We took the boat from Sanur beach at 8 AM in the morning and we left Sanur heading to Nusa Penida at 8.20. The boat is clean and nice, we observe health protocol and they ask you to keep physical distance. We sit together as family and they remind you to wash your hands.

All in all, we really enjoyed the tour and happy to recommend this to others!

Nusa Penida really worth a visit!

I was dragged to the office from main gate. What leade from them selling me speedboat tickets for two people 600k, 300k each. I looked at the prices on the table it was 250k one way. I asked them why im being charged more then original price. They dint replie much, looked shocked and confused. I was guided to their next counter for where seller asked in english from last counter how much do we charge. Then she asked 800k for my tickets. I openly stated that most of you guys are here scammers. You take advantage of confused people, who come to use your services.
I walked away becouse i knew i can book ticket in internet for 100k. Walked away and someone offered me ticket for 150k. That 50k extra to pay for ticket is fine. + leaved extra 50k as tip for the nice guy.

Very bad experience here. The boat is late by 2 hours!!! And there’s no explanation from the staff about why’s the boat delayed and how long it’s gonna take. Very bad, would not use their service again! Please use another travel services if you can such as Angel Billabong.

The best boar service to Penida. Highly recommend. Fast, safe and comfortable. Staff are great. A big ups to the baggage handlers.

I really enjoyed my boat trip here and would highly recommend a visit if you are in the area. I researched this place before my visit and it certainly lived up to my expectations
