Iconic roundabout in Jakarta, lovely to pass. Great 5star hotels around and the better malls, Grand Indonesia and Plaza Indonesia.
Unfortunately nearly always full of traffic.

Completed in 1962 by sculptor Edhi Sunarso, the Selamat Datang Monument is one of the historic landmarks of Jakarta. This place was the center of modern Jakarta where tourist that came from around the world visit this roundabout.

Located in middle of central business district Jakarta, main road in Jakarta. It was eyecatch. We can take a picture closer but it is quite difficult to get parking nearby. If there is a fountain, it is better. But the pool is dark, I don't what's inside but I think it must be cleaned periodically.
