We went looking for this place today in Chinatown around 2pm and he had already closed. We were lost and couldn’t find it but then the owner saw us looking and made us a delicious plate even though he was all closed down! The food was SO good we were so full and happy. He was very passionate and kind and we loved chatting with him.

To the owner - we planned on coming back tomorrow morning before our flight but we just realized that our flight is at 8:30am and not 11am!! So we won’t be able to make it for food tomorrow morning :( We are very sorry and disappointed that we won’t be able to try more of your delicious vegan food. Thank you again for opening back up for us after you closed down and for being so kind :)

Delicious all vegan food! The owner is lovely, explained all the food to us. Everything is vegan and really good price. Highly recommend the rendang and the sate.

Had lunch here and got to try a lot of traditional Indonesian dishes with mock meat, as well as some delicious veggies and tempeh. Such a wonderful array of flavors! What's more, the owner, Handi, is a really I sweet and interesting guy who sat down with me while I ate as it was the end of the afternoon. He is really passionate about his restaurant and you can tell! I will definitely come back next time I'm in Jakarta!!

I surprised at my first visit. Imagining my favorite Rendang (Padang Beef Stew), turned into Vegan Food. And you know what? It's delicious. Unexpected but it tastes nice. Om Handi is also a humble person. So, this is my favorite resto in Glodok.

Everything is vegan here and super tasty!
The buffet is superb and they always have different varieties of mock meats. The other days they have rendang, other days they have steamed fish in banana leaves (ikan pepes). Based on my experience, their rendang is the best in Jakarta-and surrounding!
Really recommend to go here for breakfast and lunch.
So if you're gonna dig the Glodok area, fill your Tummy up at this spot!
