Finally had a chance to try this legendary coffee at their original place. Eventhough they already have so many branches, but the vibes are different right hehehe. I ordered their favorite one which is "Es Kopi Susu" (25k) and try their Noodle for 40k. The taste of coffee is good, a little bit sweet for me but still good. For the noodle, sorry to say but actually i don't really like the texture.. if you wanna go here, you should came before 1pm to enjoy the coffee.

One of the legendary Coffee stall, located in old china town area, the ambience is still the same since 50 years ago, there are 2 options of Coffee, Coffee and milk or black Coffee, if you want your Coffee really black you have to order without sugar, because they add sugar on the Coffee. They provide noodle and also nasi campur n nasi tim, you also could order food outside their Coffee stall such as somay or sekba. Located literally inside a traditonal market, you have to walk to get here.

Legendary coffee at Jakarta. Located in old china town area (glodok). You must walk to the resto. The resto is vintage style because so many old newspaper and ood photo. I ordered Es Kopi susu (25K) and Nasi (sorry i forget but only that halal food). Staff were friendly, welcoming, quick service and they will be inform the not halal food.

Pro:
It's not crowded when I visit, the place is vintage.

Contra:
It's inside traditional market, quite hard to find.
The coffee really light, just like they mixing with too much water.
Price for food or drink pricey.

This is review from non coffee expert:
Vintage diner, located in china town Jakarta. I was ordered "Es Kopi Susu", their signature menu. I thought it would be special, but dissapointed. They served ice coffee in a plastic glass, i ordered with milk, but no milk taste and the coffee was very light. They charge 22.000 rupiah for a cup of ice coffee. I dont think it worth if only for an ice coffee, but let's consider as cost for a "quantum leap" to 1927 when they established their business. Compared to Morning Glory Coffee (Batam) u0026 Starbright Coffee (Penang), which are legend coffee too, im quite dissapointed with Kopi Tak Kie.

It was so crowded, so we decided to take it away. Legendary place and legendary coffee. Quite good for my taste.
