it is one of those old hotels that still gives you comfort and makes you feel nostalgic when you decide to stay. spacious room, it has larger bed than the others. it has several facilities like pool, sauna, etc. oh and it’s in central surabaya, so we can literally find anything near the hotel. (minus: the lift is kinda too old, because it moves slowly).

Impressive lobby greeting the guests on entry. Efficient check-in and clean and very quiet room (standard). The noise insulation to the outside world is apparently very effective. No disturbance from the roadside traffic. Together with the quiet AC and the comfy bed and pillows, this provided for a good night sleep.
I also liked the restaurant for the spacious setting, the variety of food and friendly service. Pool area allows for a different view of the city.
The bathroom could be a bit larger and needs more possibilities to store your amenities.
A recommendable, modern hotel.

Hotel is definitely have seen better days, unfortunately I got a room with a very terrible view as shown, room is also dated, lots of loosed wiring, smells a bit funky and hallways have that old smell. Location is prime next to the biggest malls in Surabaya, convenient and compared to next door luxury hotel definitely a bargain. Luckily I only stayed for a night, don't think I'll ever come back for longer stays, first and last.

You will almost never enter yhe lobby or go out without help from the security. They are always there to open the glass door for every single guest. One of them is Purnomo, but the others are also good.
I was there in 2017 and the karaoke was open. Now it's closed.
They have 4 lifts but not working properly. In the room where I stayed, 617, there is only one electric plug. Charging laptop and mobile phone must be alternately

i caming to there after 7 hours of driving for rest in surabaya for 1st time. and got this hotel review from ota aps, and after coming there, i do not expected their receptionist services is bad.
what we request is non smoking the cheapest room (700k rp) but almost purchase but confirm is smoking room, and if non smooking room must go to executive room (850k rp), but what annoys me i want to see the room first before purchase as the receptionist cannot refund if not ok with room after purchase.
and what annoys me is the face and body gesture and the vibe that receptionist like see we cannot purchase the room. haiya. maybe because we just use a simple beach dress.

after that we go to other recommended hotel -u003e vasa hotel surabaya by tan rise.
the cheapest price room is 1100k rp. the room is good and the service of receptionist is good too.

a little recommendation to tunjungan hotel GM i think is good u003du003e please train the staff for never underestimated everyone that want to purchase the room for stay. someone with just a beach sandal maybe more rich than full suits customer.

i am very disappointed with tunjungan hotel but super satisfied with vasa hotel.

Old hotel, slow lift, but spacious room with bathtub, clean swimming pool, wide selection of breakfast, and friendly staffs and the price is quite good for staycation

- They have Comfort Bed
- Bathtub on their toilet
- Tea and Coffe set on their room
- TV but not Smart TV. At least it's okay
- Best Service, In Front, Room Boy, Security, Restaurant, and other.
- They have swimming pool at 7th floor
- They have Lil Gymnastic room, and other

Overall this Hotel serve their best ever.. ????
