For goodness sake, I forgot to take the main food (Bakso) documentation since the high excitement. The place was quite crowded even though I came on a weekday afternoon, mostly office workers' break lunch situation.

Back to the atmosphere of Dutch colonialism, the ambiance of the old Dutch-Indonesian style music, and of course the food is meatballs and chicken noodles which are highly recommended.

My first impression when I came to this place is authentic Indonesian home from old school, feels so homey. All the staff is so friendly and they also use traditional Javanese language to communicate with the customers. They also set up a traditional Indonesian music. I reallyyyy love the taste of the soup. It's so rich and fresh, you can also really taste the meat in the meatballs so i supposed they don't use too much flour. I also tried the Mie Ayam, it's also very good. And I consider the price is cheap too.

Delicious meat ball in Surabejeh town. You can add side dish like tetelan, cracker etc. The mie ayam also delicious, the chicken have unique taste like semur. Cozy place, big parking lot and easy to find since it located near the main road. Definitely will go back again. Thank you

The dishes are simple but yet satisfying. Definitely recommended if you are ever in Surabaya. The bakso urat was delish!!????

Both mie ayam and bakso taste great. Especially the bakso, seems that they use real broth instead of additional flavorings. Friendly staff, pretty quick service, and suitable for group.

At first I am interested of the place because of the building. It resides in an old art deco building. The main business area is at its veranda. The main menu are chicken noodle and bakso soup with vermicelli. Side dish is consisted of boiled vegetables and variety of crackers such as noodle crackers, pangsit, etc. It's about five kinds of crackers. It serves also cold and hot drink. They have to pay attention to the crackers container to seal it out of the air and the crump of the crackers below the table after somebody eat there. It is good for a quick meal or stopping for snack time.
