Ticket is too cheap :) and it can be only be access by using Jakcard. I think this should not be legal due to its monopoly practice, they push people to use Jakcard. Also the building is too hot, there is no AC in the building, even if it has, it must be broken and can't feel anything remotely to cold temperatures, the windows are mostly closed too, make it unsafe environment during this pandemic when you need good air circulation indoor areas.

Its crazy, this place is more and more gorgeous, the pedestrian looks amazing, clean. And hope this place always clean, so please for visitor, keep clean.
The building is still same, look so incredible.

Perfect place to end your busy week, for you . Find yourself immersed with the quality of the vintage, classic buildings, built during the Dutch colonialism era. Follow along the historical dioramas, paintings, antiques, etc.

One of interesting museum in Kota Tau complex. It has just finished after renovation but I think all is not good yet in beginning of 2020. I don't know why but the layout is not good enough. Some places are empty. But other place many all things that just put inside the rooms. In my visiting time, AC is not working well, there is no fan and even window is not opened. It must be some things to be focused on. Beside that, it has prepared to be enjoyed by disabled one. There is wheelchair. Toilet, souvenir store and food corner are also available.

Nice place to spend the afternoon. Lots of artifacts covering the history of Jakarta as a city. The building itself has an interesting history.

Recommended recreation places when visiting Jakarta. In addition to learning about Jakarta's history, you can feel the atmosphere of the past which is very thick. Especially if you like to photograph a lot of unique spots scattered in this area. Call it the booth that has been provided, a spacious front yard, there are doors and interior windows, typical of colonial buildings, dungeons etc.

I suggest, spend a lot of time here. One hour seemed to be lacking. Especially if the photo hobby. If necessary, bring the property to support your photos. You can also make an album or just shoot a student / short film by taking location settings. One of them is a photo with a light background from a window.

When you take a tour, the guide is very professional, very understanding. Lots of interesting information with a friendly speech style.

For families, if you want recreation, there are colorful bicycles that can be rented, there are property objects and beautiful old city architecture. If it's hot, you can rent or buy a beautiful, colorful hat. The place is also maintained clean.

Outside the location there is a horse-drawn carriage rental service, or street vendors, there are food vendors. Relax, there is also a souvenir shop.

Honestly ... I feel unsatisfied because I haven't been here long ... I will come back later ...

To compare how Jakarta Museum was and now, I must say there are a lot of progress. Back then it was all dark and creepy, but now it was better maintained and better displayed. It's not with AC whatsoever but it's OK because the fee to go in is not that much so I suppose to provide such AC wouldn't be equal. I liked this museum as well. Next time I will spend more time to read the explanations.
