I don't know what it was and what it will be (Note. June 2019). It is under revitalization. But from outside, I love this old building style. So classy. Like in Europe. It can be seen from river side. There is a side that directly related with road that motorcycles and even car can park. Love it.

Was here to see the new Kota Tua after renovation. New Kota Tua was actually really nice and such a nice place to strolling around and take pictures

Revitalization still in process, but the building has already seen extensive use. I was here for Gramedia's The Readers Fest, and there was a ton of people in here. I think the building is in a better condition compared to when it was decrepit, but the revitalization process takes a long time to finish.

renovated old building to be Jakarta's next vintage Artotel slated for 2018 - it's still work in progress but the space is quite fabulous, overlooking the river.
