this place is pure and reflects the real Bali spirit and also surroundings. In the middle of nature you have your own open spacious garden with separate bedrooms from the living area and kitchen area. In the beautiful garden is also a nice sitting area for relaxation moments. the place is best suitable for people who like their own place and take care of theirselves. Here you will find true Bali and a stay away from other tourists.

I live in Bali and have been here several times. I love the place. If you like peace and an environment of tranquil, unspoiled nature, you will like it as well. I loved to sit in the spacious, charming garden. I am looking forward to my next visit. Btw, a nice restaurant in a traditional Balinese style is next door.

Stayed in this lovely and serene place for a couple of days with my husband. We were very lucky it was in a Durian season. Every day Pak Gede searched and gladly shared with us this delicious fruit which grow in the garden. Bu Nyoman was equally nice and friendly. She took me to her other garden and we harvested some fern which she prepared immediately for our dinner, together with brown rice she grew herself. All the food she prepared for us were freshly cooked and delicious. Trekking at the foot of Mount Batukaru and visiting one of the important temples in Bali are a must. As there were only 2 rooms available, we felt like owning the place :) We made a good choice to stay here to experience a village life and feeling refreshed when we left. We certainly will return

Positive: If you want to experience the most authentic experience in a place that seems lost in the middle of the jungle but still with all the necessary comfort, this is the perfect place to choose. Ibu Nyoman and her husband along with ibu Sastra are wonderful hosts who really do their best to make your stay unforgettable and it worked well with us. Jatiluwih is only 12 km away and it’s a unique experience..

Positive: Its pure Bali in the mountains. The guesthouse is surrounded by jungle and world Heritage rice fields. The place offers unspoiled nature, culture and traditional Balinese cooking on request, jungletour, visit rice field and Luhur Baturkaru We have beautiful memories and unique experiences by host Pak Gede and Ibu Nyoman. I've been there several times and would keep coming back. A beautiful homestay in the middle of nature. Here you can experience and enjoy the real Bali. Pak Gede and Ibo Nyoman are excellent hosts :)

We had a very nice time at Carik Tangis Botique homestay in July 2018.
It is a nice atmosphere at this beautiful place.
The house is located in the middle of the jungle but near by is a resort and a village. More over you have a lot of possibilities to undertake something. (Not far away from the house is a temple, or you can wander through the nature and can visite the paddy fields). In addition the hosts are very frindly (Ibo Nyoman and Pak Gede her husban). If you have any problems or you are in trouble they will help you.
