The Jatiluwih rice terraces are absolutely beautiful! My friend and I had an awesome time hiking through the farmlands here. It costs ~$2.80 to enter, and you can easily walk around without any hassle and take videos/photos freely. Very enjoyable time hiking and viewing the immense terraces and sprawling green jungles/farmlands. This is a must-see for anyone in Bali, and especially anyone in western Bali.

The rice terrace should be really beautiful when rice is young and green, however now it's not as spectacular. Would recommend to drive around smaller roads in the area and you might discover spectacular secluded terraces.
The entrance was free for a viewpoint stop, but there are few treks that may ask for a small fee.

Good place for walking with interesting views.
Entrance costs 40 k.for kids 30k.
You should choose route which you will go to walk: shot route, middle or long. Shot route takes about one hour. Better go there in the morning and take sun protection.

Fantastic place with great views! Highly recommend checking it out if you’re in Bali. One thing to note is it can get pretty hot especially because there’s not much shade so bring an umbrella or load up on sun cream

A large area of different rice fields. Yes, it's touristy but certainly worth the visit even if you've been to Bali multiple times. You can spend a few hours walking around the area on dedicated walk ways. It's also possible to take shorter routes. There's even a map for all routes.
Major downside is the lack of a dedicated parking lot. Most cars are just parked on the winding roads which isn't very safe.

These rice fields are unesco protected. According to our guide it can get pretty crowded here with tourists. We were fortunate enough to come in a quiet period due to the lack of tourists. Please respect the locals and do not tread on their property, do not vandalize their belongings. There are no restrooms or garbage cans on the tourist path. So be prepared. Wear proper walking shoes as the path can be slippery and is rocky. Along the path there are soms small food and drink stalls, keep small change available as these vendors can’t make change for the ‘larger’ banknotes.

The best rice terrace here in Bali, and probably in the entire world. Breathtaking and expansive views of the world-renowned and UNESCO-listed rice field. Definitely a must-visit here in Bali. There are a few hiking treks that you can take here, ranging from 1-hour to 6-hour trek. You can also see a few buffalos used for plowing the rice field. Take a break in one of the local warungs to have local delicacies and enjoy the lush greenery.
