Tucked away in the mountain, warm people, and good rooms. Good value for money overall and breakfast was ????. Just a note that some of rooms has bathrooms outside.

Beautiful quiet place, very clean people are kind, food is delicious. If you like nature here is the best choice.

This place is disgusting, I don’t know what the other reviewers are talking about. On the first night I found a wasp in my bathroom and the hotel staff kindly swatted it. At dinner our table was covered in ants and the power went off at the restaurant 5 times and 2 times in our room. The rooms are okay but smell musty and mildewy and the bathrooms are gross. Also, animals stir during the night and roosters nearby crow at 5am and I found it really hard to sleep. However, the outside of the retreat is beautiful and the food is good. This place needs to get their act together, otherwise I really don’t recommend staying here!!!!

We loved it. Amazing nature. Place is simple but perfect. Great way to experience a very different Bali. Needed a jumper and long pants in the evening or when it rained. Staff was amazing and very friendly.

Best moments of a month in Bali were here: friendly and helpful, still off the tourist track. Wonderful trips to temples, drives around the paddies, cooking classes, and spacious serene setting. Richard runs it, and is a delight in his own right: an accomplished musician who is going to the small towns to record the gamelan traditional songs before they disappear.

An impossibly beautiful place. Nestled high in the mountains, away from all the hustle and bustle ... you cant get any closer to perfection than this.
