A legendary Ujung Pandang style of Chinese dumpling noodle with shreded chicken and roast pork. Located at the roadside, this foodstall opens at night time. Queue is always expected. Payment can be only made by cash. Pricing is moderate. Besides of noodle, they also offer some other dishes.

The quite famous mie Ujung Pandang in Kedungdoro street, for me its tasty enough although its not the best in the city, you can choose the toppings, just ask the waitress, the price around IDR 30k to 40k depends on the size

A food stall offers us noodle cuisine which is typical of Makassar. It is located at Jl. Kedungdoro, Surabaya.
Do not visit it at daylight, because it opens at evening only. Daylight is time for the shops along the way to operate. It will turn in the evening, when the shops close and many food stalls open.
I used to drop by at night on my way home from work and enjoy my favourite meal : pangsit mie Ujung Pandang (besar). A bowl of boiled noodles, using some slices of pork for topping. A tasty sauce with nice and tender dumpling perfecting the dish.
Do not worry of the price.

One of Kedungdoro's most visited street food place. Mainly serves Mie Ujung Pandang, but they also have some Chinese foods. Chewy handmade noodles topped with some sweet char siu, pork intestines, and some boiled chicken (they always run out of chicken if you come here late after 8 or 9 PM). Decent price. Sometimes there's a queue, so you either share table or just wait.
