Legendary food in Surabaya, famous with their Nasi Kuning. Little bit pricy, 50k / portion for Nasi Kuning but plenty of topping : Javanese style fried chicken, perkedel, dendeng sapi, kering tempe, sambel goreng kentang, serundeng, telur dadar iris. The best part was dendeng sapi but the other parts were so-so. Not bad but not so special. The rice itself was too dry (kurang pulen), and the taste from yellow rice’s seasoning like coconut cream and other ingredients was too light so it was not tasty as I expected. But it depends on personal taste, some people love this kind of Nasi Kuning. We can also try other menu such as Nasi Berkat (50k) and Lontong Cap Gomeh (50k).

One of legendary small resto known in Surabaya for years. Well known for most of their Indonesian food served there. My fave are Lontong Cap Gomeh, and Nasi Kuning.

The food offered are a bit pricy but worth for the portion and the taste.

During pandemic, you are able to buy takeaways only. Keep it up.

Nasi Kuning is a traditional food of Indonesia, it is basically rice with spices and turn to yellow, it's tasteful.
And this Depot Wijaya's nasi kuning is delicious, a bit pricey though.
What I urge them to fix immediately is their pathetic services !! Seems like they don't have any service standard, no smiles, no welcoming, nothing.
The only good service I got here is in the cashier, well the owner himself is the cashier.
Even the parking man is more friendly than the servants. Shame.

Great Nasi Kuning and place. The Depot got AC, clean, and resposive. Haven't tried other food but the I bet it will delicious too.

Good taste, reasonable price, good portion. Never change interior. Clean venue. Most of the guests are senior citizen.

pricey, but lotsa side dish, not serving dine-in while corona pandemic, but you can still buy it online or takeaway, average 45-50k for each meal

Oldies | Clean u0026 Homey | Indonesian food

Amazing, it is one of the oldies style restaurant in the center of Surabaya.

This place is very clean and give homey ambiance, it really makes you feel at home.

Because it is quiet, this restaurant is suitable for lunch meeting with your client.

For Indonesian favourite, this is the right place to come.
