This is one of the best restaurants for steak in Jakarta, eat here often and am never disappointed. The steak they cook perfectly and serve on a sizzling hot plate, all steaks are of the highest quality imported from Australia or America. Also, if you like seafood, definitely eat the ahi tuna, scallops and crab cakes . Highly recommended, this is my go to place for steak in j town!

Spontaneously had dinner here with my friend. We ordered:

- Ruth’s Chop Salad 9/10 - IDR 150K
Didn’t know salad can be so delicious! It’s a must try one!

- Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail 9/10 - IDR 250K
My favorite! The shrimps were fresh and big. We finished it in a glimpse

- Porterhouse for Two (1,130 gr - medium rare) 8/10 IDR 1,750K
One of the most premium cuts! This Porterhouse steak has been expertly aged and cooked to perfection. The texture was so amazing and melted in mouth. The portion was big for both of us, yet we were still able to finish them all.

- Creamy Spinach 8/10 - IDR 130K
Delicious as usual, and it also balances your tongue from having too much meat

- Au Gratin 8/10 - IDR 130K
Delicious as usual

- Onion Ring 7/10 - IDR 130K
Those looked like mutant onions. It was very big like donuts. But I like how crunchy their onion and and the texture. But somehow the portion was quite big and felt a bit too much after taking 2 onion rings

- Brussel Sprouts 7/10 - IDR 130K
This time, it seemed they undercooked the brussel sprouts. a bit hard to chew but always love how well-seasoned of their veggies

The ambience was good, but somehow as we sat near their kitchen, somehow it was a bit noisy and looked busy with waiters and waitresses came out back and forth. Overall it was delicious. It is worth to visit once a while.

Approximately spent IDR 3.5mil for 2 people

A very good quality of meat thick cut. Very pricey. American style steak, you need to buy extra sides (no salad or chips or any sides, only steak by itself, no steak sauce as well) . Nice creme brulee for dessert.

we had lunch on weekend @ruthschris one of the best steak house you can have in here, focused on the meat quality, the food was great. Start with the appetizers, we ordered barbecued shrimp, which served perfectly cooked as the crunchiness of the shrimp is maintained served with butter sauce with mix of wine and garlic with herbs, continued with ruth's chopped salad, which nicely served follow with main course we ordered ribeye, 16 ounce USDA prime, cooked medium rare with simple grain of salt and papper with pinch of rosmary, and served on baked plates with melted butter, giving sizzling sounds and nice aroma of butter when served. I will say it's a nice anf quality meal... The steak is juicy and melt in your mouth as the butters is giving you heaven sensation in your tongue. We also had Au Gratin, sliced potato, baked with plenty of cream and topped with melted cheedar, and for the closure I had my favorite creme brulee, which cooked perfectly, the egg custard is melted in your mouth while the carameled sugar on top give the sweet taste ..... It's a very nice lunch for us...

First time trying the supposedly the best steakhouse one can find in Jakarta. And i can ascertain that it was indeed the best i ever tried in Jakarta.

What we ordered:

Appetiser:
blue crab cake.
The outer side was too salty for my liking as it absorbs lots of the melted butter on the plate. But the inside was not, and it’s loottsss of tasty crab meat. Less to none floury taste.

Entrees:
12 ounce rib eye.
The waitress suggested us to order 1 level of doneness below our desired level, ie; if you want medium well you should order medium. This was because the plate itself was sizzling hot and could add up 1 level of the “doneness”. This was true, but it only happened after about 15 minutes after the meal was served. So at the beginning you would have got steak with doneness level below what you’d like to get. Not really a nice experience. So i think it’s better to order level of doneness exactly as you wanted the meat to be.

8 ounce fillet
Very tender, less fat. Asked to cut the meat in half as it was quite thick. Best decision as it was cooked thoroughly.

Side dish:
French fries (Julienne)
Creamy Spinach
These two combos was such a perfect neutralizer and complement for the meat. I dipped the fries into the spinach in between the beef.

Dessert:
Cheesecake
LOVED IT! Perfect balance between sweetness, salty, tangy ❤️

Overall, a marvelous lunch experience.
Spent around 2.45 mio on the bill.

PS: if you are used to eat steak with choices of sauces, remove that expectation as the steak in Ruth’s Chris only seasoned with salt and pepper.

The place is next to raffles hotel. Eventually this is a fine Dining resto with an excellent service. The food portion is big and they have speciality is rib eye and sirloin Steak. The uniqueness of wild mushroom, must try.

Good steakhouse, fancy dining and great service. We ordered rib eye set menu.

But since they use a lot of butter, I felt a bit uneasy (enek). I can't eat the steak that much.

Great service though and ambience. I guess this kind of steak wasn't just my thing
