Located on former residence of late Basuki Abdullah, this place offer you quite intimate feeling especially when visiting his private bedroom. Not such a hugh museum but clean and neat, and represent some of his life and his previous masterpiece in painting.

Actually love it, but not so many collection for painting, but you can see other collections such as masks, wayang, even weapons. Not large enough to spend for many hours, at least for me. I spend only around 40 minutes to get the tour complete. I like to enjoy the painting but bringing your kids not a very good combination. :)

A memorable place of the talented Mr. Basoeki Abdullah. You can see his awesome artworks and some of his personal memorabilia. Sometimes there's also some events held here.

Thanks @drhaltekehalte to recommend this place. Little bit far to walk from MRT fatmawati, and it's located little bit hidden through small alley. Learned a lot about the Artist, Mr. Basoeki Abdullah. I love how the museum organize the way to tell Mr. Basoeki's biography. It was all neat. Little disturbance because there is renovation going on inside the building and also the security just let elementary students come in without supervision? I was worried they'd break things or two because the kids were just running and jumping around.

Im very grateful to know most of our Maestro's painting are still well-preserved. We can see most of the portraits of world leader painted by Basoeki Abdullah. My personal favourites are Bu Tien, Dewi Soekarno and a painting that is started by Bu Tien and then finished by the Maestro. Definitely will come back here soon once they open the new part of the museum!

actually this museum is Basoeki Abdullah's house. it's a small museum that tells us about his career as a famous Indonesian painter. this museum also used to hold workshop.

Dedicated in memoriam the famous painter of Indonesia. It small but its great to see his work. Its magic.
