Similar to its sister store at Jalan Pelita Raya, Hai Hong can't really disappoint you when it comes to morning breakfast and coffee.

Great coffee, combined with various offering of local snacks and meal (again, their Nasi Kuning is just so good!), and of course their energetic staff, what more can you ask.

Very decent price.

Now, the only thing I'd like to add for THIS particular store is the location. It is located in the middle of the city, at Jalan Bonerate, the so called the "Chinatown" of Makassar (if there is any such thing as China Town in Makassar anyway). It is on quieter part of the town, with lanes of small walk way, old houses, reminiscing the olden days of Makassar.

The cafe itself is good, well-ventilated, and has upstair sitting area too. People do smoke in this cafe (but since it is well-ventilated, you should be able to survive).

Well, a must visit I'd say whenever you fancy a morning coffee and breakfast in Makassar.

There is traditional coffee here and traditional food like grill bread with various topping. The price also cheap. But very small parking space

The place feels very authentic. Open until 5 pm. All the crews here very polite. Cafe ambiance is nice but when you come with cars expect bit trouble to find parking space. Because there is not much space for parking. The location is in alley.

Many foods and drinks served here. Taste is good. Good service with reasonable price. Oh the toilet is clean too!

One of the best kopitiam style coffee shop in Makassar. You should get the kaya toast and ubi goreng. The ubi goreng is crispy on the outside but soft on the inside. Recommended.
