Make sure to book a table for this place, especially during high season.
We almost couldn’t dine in this place, but thankfully they were kind enough to find us an empty table to enjoy the experience.
As the 7-course tasting menu was quite overwhelming, we decided to order a la carte instead. For the savory menu, we got the potato with sambal hijau aioli and the cheese platter. The cheese platter I highly highly recommend. It was so much fun so try out different combinations of spreads, herbs, cheese, and meat on top of the homemade ciabatta bread. Each person could have different things to enjoy or dislike, but it’s still a fun dining experience nonetheless for everyone.
As for the dessert, we ordered red, bubbles and one more dish with Balinese meringue on it. For us, red was our definite favorite as the dessert had varying textures, flavors and temperatures. The cooling watermelon on top was an excellent addition and the beet cake was wonderful. Overall, this was a wonderful and engaging dining experience that I hope everyone try out at least once!
