Very friendly owners. A bit hard to find, and you most probably have to walk the last part due to the very narrow roads, but it's only five minutes from the main road. The rooms on the first level only have fans, while the rooms on the second floor (the ones with balcony) have A/C. The fan however works well. I was the only guest there for the entire five nights stay, which felt a bit lonely. Remember that you have to pay using cash only. For beeing the single guest, the wifi is very slow occasionally. Rooms are clean and quiet.
I can recommend the Mt Batur hike offered at the accommodation. It's a moderate hike up on Mt. Batur where you can see the sunrise. It's seams to be a bit of a gamble on what guide you will get, but the one we had was excellent. Some good shoes (like running shoes), shorts and a jacket for when waiting for the sunrise being all swetty. You will get water, but bring one or two bottles more!
The breakfast is very good, even for a vegan!
They can arrange transport to the airport (I payed 300k)
