Wonderful stay!

Place is beautiful, a very green garden with birds sound.
The family who runs it is lovely and helpful.
Location is perfect, near the main road in Ubud full of restaurants and shops.

There is a good breakfast with toast, eggs and fruits. But if you’re used with a big breakfast (like me), you can buy it yourself in a near grocery store.

The room was in perfect condition and there is a daily cleaning included.

Traditional family compound. Fair enough for sleep and take a rest. There is WiFi but dont expect too much.

Me and my husband stayed here for 5 days. We are backpacks and have been traveling for over 4 months. This place was paradise! Very clean, very welcoming, beautiful gardens surround the traditional Balinese style houses. The cottage like houses are very spacious and clean. They tidy up your room every day (something I m not quite used to being a backpacker). Bathrooms were clean and fairly spacious. The only thing I can think that people might not like about Gusti is that there is no screens on the 4 windows. However, the ceiling fan in the room is powerful and there is no need to keep the windows open at night. They do free breakfast, you pick what you want off a menu, and it's actually a hardy real breakfast that comes with a mini fruit salad. Coffee and tea are always readily available for you, with hot water thermos always on your veranda. I will stay here again when I return!

Value for money. We had rooms bit deeper into premise, was quiet with some self catering facilities. Nice small breakfast. They assisted us with renting scooters for 60 per day and shuttle from airport and to next destination. Friendly hostess

I think staying at a family house is part of the experience in Bali, more than a 5 star luxury resort. When it says House it really means it, these are their traditional houses including the three small family temples.

This family was extremely nice, always smiling and willing to sit down for a chat about their culture and ours; they all have connection and there is a very strong sense of community so they have tour guides and transport solutions to suggest (obviously friends but that's how it works here so there is no point in trying to hunt the best deal :) ).

The location is just outside the busy center of Ubud, less than 5 minutes walk, which is nice cause it quiet and silent!! I extended my stay cause I really felt home :)

Very nice light full of air houses. Located in a very well-maintained tropical garden. The breakfast is traditional for Bali. For its price is the best place in Ubud. The only minus is absence of free drinking water.

Amazing place. Nice position near main streets. A lot of cafes in walking distance. Rooms are ok. But at first morning “Cock-A-Doodle-Doo!” Was from 5 am till 10 am. Earplugs resolved this problem. All three photo from guest house territory.
