The first night here, I was quite impressed with the Villa. However, it went somewhat downhill from there.
Pros:
- nice villas for families or groups of 4
- clean (4/5)
- great breakfast
- good location
- good value for money
Cons:
- service requires improvement / inattentive and slow: even though there were clearly enough servers (2-3 on the floor, and we were the only ones there on most days), they were often difficult to get a hold of (in our time there; they were mainly hanging out in the kitchen chatting away)
- breakfast was great but a la carte and had to be pre-ordered, which was fine, but even after ordering several items would be missing; sometimes they would miss one person’s breakfast entirely or mess the order up.
- didn’t always replace bath towels even when they were clearly dirty and placed in the bathtub or floor (sometimes they would hang those back up)
- kettles wouldn’t work and they didn’t have replacements (had to ask them to bring hot water if we wanted to make tea)
- one of the room’s sliding doors was extremely tough to open/close
- lots of bugs! Though this isn’t entirely the villas fault and is expected in villas near nature
Overall, okay place given the price, but I would not stay here again nor would I recommend it unless you want a low cost villa and aren’t too fussed about service.
