Superb! Delicious drinks, vegetarian and non vegetarian options of food available. Beautiful presented dishes. Clean place and friendly stuff. I was very impressed with the straw for the smoothie - clever! Saw little fish swimming on the side of the restaurant. Nice touch. At first I thought it was rain water gutter ???? and only then noticed a fish.
Noticed the sticker “garbage hero” or something similar on the wall. I don’t know what does it mean, but probably it has something to do with the straw, the way they pack foods for delivery and not using plastic. Will ask next time I’m here ????

The most amazing dining experience!
Delicious food, extensive vegan menu, incredibly kind staff and beautifully presented,most of the food is local and from starter to dessert homemade.
Highly recommended at least one visit to Kemulan to anyone who is staying in the area! Truly a hidden gem.

Read the reviews and was blown away by food presentation, taste and price, tuna and avocado tacos are a must try, satay chicken skewers are a yes, everything we ordered was good! Cocktails where great ! Went back a week later and tried the Indonesian sampler , was not dissapointed , the photos say it all !

We stay in nearby hotel and found this place by chance. When we first arrived at the restaurant and saw the menu we really didn't know what to expect.
BUT, when the appertisers arrive, we were blown away by the beauty of the plating. We can see from the dishes that the chef puts his heart and soul onto the plates. And the taste, O.M.G. they taste as good as it looks. If not, better. We had Dumpling and Kemulan Tacos for appertiser. The dumplings sit on a gravy and they complement each other beautifully. The vegan Tacos is fresh and delicious. I never knew that I would enjoy a vegan Tacos! (I am not vegan btw).
Then comes the main dish, Tempe Red Bean Rendang (vegan) for my partner, and Bebek Mesanten (non vegan) for me. The accompanying rice plate comes with condiments of sambal and vegetables. They are all so beautiful on the eyes and tasty on the palate. It's heaven.
I am so glad that we decided to come and dine in there. We will definitely come back again and we already recomended it to few Vegan friends (we live in Bali).
I also love the fact that they have 2 menus, Vegan and Non Vegan and so everyone is welcomed.
Good ambience, great good, great value. If I could give 10 stars, I would. Super duper highly recommended!

PS: Location is only accessible with motorbike/bicycle/on foot.

Great. This is the best chicken sate I’ve had on the island — served beautifully, made really tasty and all this is a little backyard off the main tracks of Ubud. It’s a simple place yet the kitchen creates some real magic. Just try it yourself, you won’t be disappointed.

The first bite of that dumpling got me thinking that the chef must have magical hands. Impressive taste. Later the owner/chef came to my table and we talked, he was a chef in a 5-star hotel. Ha. No wonder then :) he said he's the one who shops the fresh ingredients in the morning u0026 helps the local farmers.

It's a new business and they're still learning. I think they could be big, but pls note that this is no ordinary warung. The price is on the higher end as I spent 105k for my dinner.

I think it's worth the price esp for those who can appreciate u0026 acknowledge that food is art. Chef Made executes it beautifully. Thank you, will come again.

Quite a long wait even tho the resto was not that busy. Homey feel and vibes. Forgot to order the chicken satay even tho there were so many good reviews on it. The couple set, need 1 hr prep time so do take note if you want to order this.
