I stayed here for a month during my teacher training at the Yoga Barn. The family here is SO lovely and welcoming. I can't describe to you how beautiful it is inside the gates, like an oasis or something. They garden so well. I stayed in the Sandat room which was very simple, but all I needed as I was out most of the time. The bathroom is open air but the room is closed and has AC. They cleaned my room daily and changed my bedding almost daily as well. They will take your laundry as well, only like 50,000rp. Everything on the breakfast menu (included in room cost) is delicious. The veggie omelette tastes like a Chinese egg roll, the banana pancake (more like a crepe) was AMAZING, and the Jaffle was so good too (like a little breakfast sandwich pocket). Each comes with a plate of fruit too which was nice. I highly recommend staying here. The walk to yoga barn was not long at all, maybe 10-15 minutes depending which way I went.

I chose the lower suite with king size bed and a huge terrace that looked out at the bamboo forest across the small road below. Very quiet and peaceful day and night.
The staff and family members are wonderful and always there to help and offer free tea and coffee all day. Breakfast delicious and you can order a meal from their restaurant Laki Laki in Nyukunning. There are many small warungs on this quiet road within walking distance for example, Little India or Warung Colada, or a bit more of a walk you are in central Ubud touristy location. The big rooms need a bit of renovation but it has charm with wooden furniture and traditional paintings. I extended my stay for as eco d week and will call this home when ever I return to Ubud.

Coming here since 15 years. It's a place where mostly traders or other people who are not only tourists stay.
That makes it a real family like Atmosphere, in addition to the lovely family and staff. Home away from home

Very nice and clean and yet very religius family.
What a nice place to learn about Balinese daily activity,especially during new moon or fullmoon.where the whole family busy in making the offerings yet at the same time they can look after the staying guest very well.

Great breakfast and good selection. Great family, very friendly and helpful. Have stayed here many times. Free and cake in afternoon.
