Hands down the best carmelized pork belly, I have ever eaten. If I could rate it 10/5 I most definitely would.

The service is quick, the location is brilliant over looking a paddy field. The food is just amazing.

Comfort food. I like how they stay authentic for Indonesian palette. The oseng mercon was so spicy in a good way and the eggplant was very delicious also. I will definitely return and recommend to others.

Ambience wise, nice. Unique traditional contemporary style. Food and drink wise, par. Nothing special. Tom yum Kung soup can surely use more zest. Portion wise, adequate for two, which is rather small. But ok, since we're a party of two.

Beautiful place. Surrounded by beautiful ricefields and next to Alaya Hotel

Ordered green bean with enoki and salted egg aubergine. Both are delicious. However the menu lack of vegan friendly foods. The staff recommended me vegetarian fried rice, which actually bit underwhelming, should have sticked to plain rice. Tried to order sayur asam but out of stock.

Ambiance is amazing.
But food is not up to the Balinese quality. Very pricey. Fish was rock hard, probably cooked yesterday. Chicken was the same , cooked probably in the morning and covered in sauce so you don’t notice the quality/freshness. Nasi goreng was cooked with very old leftover cooked rice and fresh rice.
I am sorry I don’t normally leave negative reviews but you need match up with the ambiance so you can charge these prices.

Cerita Manisan is a beautiful restaurant in Ubud area. The foods are so good, especially Kerisi Bajar u0026 Singkong Telor Asin. Nice semi open space area, spacious u0026 windy.
