Three words.. “to die for” is how I feel every time I have lunch or dinner here. Everything is amazing! Appetisers such as Pumpkin Soup, Octopus Salad, and Mains including Grilled Tuna, Pork Ribs, and the mouth watering desserts including Apple Pie, Chocolate Fondant. My favourite being the Chocolate Tart. So mouth-watering and delicious! Try it for yourself! You’ll be blown away!!

Besides this, the restaurant itself boasts modern Balinese rice field design, depicting a farmer with all his farming equipment, including a farmer’s hat! Absolutely thrilled eating here amongst the beautiful array of batik art and farm utilities.

You will definitely miss coming back here again and again!

Indonesian style restaurant in Ubud, Petani restaurant is inhouse resturant of Alaya Ubud... I love the satay ???? u0026 lovely ambience too.

Located around Ubud the most crowded spot (it's like walking distance from Monkey Forest), Alaya Ubud as much like her new sister Hotel Alaya Kuta are the best 4 stars Hotels, which probably you will found fully booked, I don’t stayed there actually but have a little glimpse to what I saw; the room, the spa, the pool and the restaurant, no questions about it.

The restaurant also very famous among reviewers who listed them as the best restaurant to try in Ubud, and that I was doing. I was tried to review one by one menu, but I think I failed lol. The point is Petani Restaurant with their tagline “Taste of Indonesia” can be true because I like the curry, satay (with three different types of meat; prawn, chicken and beef) so much. If you are in total hungry, try Jimbaran Style Grilled Salmon? I was failed on finishing it, because as you saw on the picture that you will get 2 thick salmon portions of meat with carbohydrates around them, interesting textures and taste from its tomatoes and I believe it was edamame beans.

But their signature is the one and only Nasi Raja!

The restaurant located next to reception of Alaya Ubud, but it’s definitely open for public. Designed in very old rustic style European furniture with details of Indonesian batik, which front area exposed to the street while at the back is to the rice field that very Ubud. A very nice place to have lunch or an afternoon chill with some drinks, and is there any better idea than have a plate of spring roll and a scoop of ice cream to close the session at Petani Restaurant? and it's very affordable!

Awesome restaurant! It is a bit more expensive but worthy to try- I went there more than 3 times! Good decent food ;)

Guests get to enjoy complimentary afternoon tea which includes a tea or coffee and a small set of sweet treats. I ordered the Trio Babi which is pork prepared three different ways and served with coconut rice and fried long beans. The barbecued pork was fried crisp and came with a good chunk of fats, a classic Balinese dish. Mains are reasonably-priced but wines per glass are costly. Service staff are always warm and friendly.

Very delicious Indonesian u0026 Asian food with generous portion. Great service, nice view. Will come back for sure

Friendly and nice waiter, a little bit expensive and the food is good but not the best. We'll try other restaurant next time. Whatch out: Tom Yum soup is too spicey for a normal man or a women and sea food soup is with coriander.

Amazing food, awesome cocktails and fantastic staff who are super chirpy and very helpful. There was a guy playing the guitar and singing ballads while we were there which really set the mood.
