Service staff is outstanding and so is the food. Delicious, tasty, and flavorful. Healthy (almost too healthy haha) portions; you will always leave full and satisfied. Stayed at the hotel for a week and breakfast, lunch, and dinner were always terrific. Enough variety that was able to try a new dish at every meal. Fresh juices and excellent drinks as well.

Food quality is range from good (the grill fish, Pumpkin salad), average (tuna tartare, grill chicken), some is tasteless (eg paella is leak of seasoning-salt) and some are chewy (grill octopus).

Service is good for some of the staffs but bad for some (eg service food without explanation on what sauce they serving, trying to remove the plate when we yet finish our dish, water drip in to our food when pouring wine, serving our soup without spoon).

This really doesn’t match the price it charging, and really need improvement on both food and service area.

Breakfast team at Cascades are amazing and definitely made sure we felt relaxed and recharged (and well fed!). Unlimited supply of food and drinks were delicious and we walked away both days totally satisfied. Hope more people will visit Cascades and Viceroy soon.

The views are beautiful but the food is overpriced. We enjoyed the very nice staff and the resort views are picturesque. When it comes to the food, the taste is there but it is unfortunate that they are way overpriced compared to other high end restaurants in Ubud.

everything was perfect..
1.mac n cheese
2.satay skewer
3.pizza
4.everything (even their french fries taste excellent)

with a romantic ambience!

A very good meal in a high end hotel. Wonderful views, attentive staff and tasty food. Desserts were particularly well done and a good wine list. Marking down one star as I didn't feel the price matched the value when compared to other higher end restaurants in Ubud or those attached to other luxury hotels. Definitely paying a premium for the surroundings and the view to some extent. But a good meal overall.

Excellent Service befitting a lovely setting and great food
4 of ate lunch here recently and we could not fault the service. From the moment we arrived at the front entrance to having the Viceroy driver return us back to Ubud, every interaction with the staff was faultless. We were even shown through the Art Deco Bar and Formal Dining Room as well as the kitchen greenhouse. Did I mention the Truffle Mushroom Risotto? It was exceptional- so good I could have eaten two of them! Thanks for the memory.
