Campuhan Ridge is one of the better free attractions on Ubud. Very beautiful nature walk. Downside is they are building a lot of houses on one of the valley sides, which destroy the nature experience and why this is only 4 starts moving towards 3 stars if they keep building. We walked here at noon, that was very hot. Walk in the morning if you can

Really nice walk that ends at a small village. Can be a bit crowded at the start near the temple. There is a steep slope down to the beginning and there are some steep stairs near the temple, if you have knee issues, you might want to start from the village end, where you can still see the rice fields and the valleys. Plenty of places to stop for coffee, drinks and food also a vegan ice cream place.

Lovely road to walk, take a lot of water and a towel with you since it’s gonna get hot and sweaty, but it’s completely worth it. At the end the are small restaurants to eat and to drink :)

Nice walk, I've been doing this track every morning. Small village u0026 caffe at the top of the trail are nice and quiet, you can enjoy a good cold coconut to refresh after a nice hike.
Nice rice terraces, friendly people and dogs.

It’s best to do the walk here at
sunrise and sunset as the panorama from this hill could be truly magnificent overlooking the lush river gorges. It is a short distance walk and perfect for photo shoot. Dozens of visitors are coming here as they have seen fabulous photographs on Instagram. It is indeed a perfect escape from Ubud’s crowds. Notice that this trail could sometimes be over crowded with tourists. We came here for a walk after Bali was opened again for tourists after Covid-19 so it was not really that crowded.

Campuhan Ridge walk is definitely at the top of the list of must do walks when in Ubud. It is a beautiful walk which is filled with greenery and hills. It’s more of a jungle or forest walk so if you wanted to only see rice fields and terraces there are other walks you can do. Best season to go here is in summer
