Such a gem! This is not just a exceptional cooking class but a whole Experience to learn about Balinese culture! One of the best things we did in our month long trip in Bali. We enjoyed it so much, everything was done with so much attention to detail and love, and we especially loved how private it was. They had so much love and patience with us and we felt so welcome from the first moment to the very last goodbye. Thank you so much for this wonderful experience! Definitely recommend to anyone coming to Ubud. ????????????

One of the best experience in Bali. The family had really great attitude and explained us a lot of interesting Balinese traditions and then we went cooking :-) The food prepared was delicious (6 courses) and we were very involved preparing it. Had very nice late afternoon near Ubud. Thank you for all.

Best experience in Bali so far ! Komang and his parents were extremely welcoming (especially since we booked very last minute), and he explained every step in great detail. We were grateful for being welcomed in their family compound and getting the chance to put together many traditional dishes. Each dish was more delicious than the next and the level of detail towards everything ( even showing us how to prepare an offering) was greatly appreciated. We highly recommend this educational experience at Bale Delod to everyone passing through Ubud ! Many thanks to the family again! Diana and Flo

This was one of the highlights of our honeymoon in Bali. The family is extremely welcoming and we loved the authenticity of the experience. It started off with a visit to the market, followed by a visit to rice terrace u0026 finally the best part, being welcomed to their home starting off with a cultural tour understanding how the home is setup and its significance followed by the cooking class. During the cooking class, the family takes us through each of the ingredients and guides us in preparation of each of the 10 courses. This was wonderful because I enjoy cooking and learning. We were able to take photos and videos through the entire thing. Finally, the meal was fantastic. It was a great buffet style setup so we can pick and choose more of our favorites. Overall, great experience from a very hospitable family.

Totally recommended! Kadek and his family opened the doors of their home for us to cook, together, some great Balinese specialties. We loved all of them, and they can be replicated back home because, besides the big amount of cultural and traditions information that they provide, we were gifted by a well-explained made-with-love recipe book. If you want to do something different, and to bring something special back home, you surely won't regret this activity. After the cooking, we could taste our own creations! There are other cooking courses in Ubud, but with this one besides you will be supporting a local family.

Outstanding! I really recommend booking your Bali Cooking Class at Bale Delod Cooking Class! Did it today and the experience has exceeded any expectations. You first visit a local market where you try different fruits and spices. After that you will see how work on rice fields gets done and finally before cooking you will learn everything you need to know about a balinese house. Then you start cooking. Everything is explained and guided so well, even if you are non-cooks I recommend trying it! It's really worth it! Everybody was so warm hearted and welcoming. You even get a small booklet with all the recipes you've cooked! 11/10

Great fun experience, delicious food, very nice hosts. We went as a family (parents + 3 teenagers) and each one of us had fun and enjoyed it. Aside from cooking delicious traditional food, we learned a lot about Bali traditional cooking and culture. Would recommend for anyone.
