I stayed here for 4 nights and it was a pleasant experience! First and foremost, this place is gorgeous and tranquil at the same time. Such a gem as it's located next to a lush forest u0026 paddy fields, yet it's pretty close from the city center. It is a perfect place if you prefer a quiet environment; I found the environment very conducive for my daily meditation and reflection practice. The cleanliness and the service are top notch. The owners and all staff are helpful, respectful, and very very very hospitable. Thank you Basundari for making my stay so memorable!! Would 100% recommend this place to folks who want to engross in Ubud's serenity! :-)

This place felt like home. The staff and the owners really make every effort to make you comfortable. There is so much attention to detail in the place, it's really beautiful and the nature is incredible! Thank you Basundari ????????

This is by far the most uniquely beautiful place I've ever stayed. The rooms are huge, every little thing has been thought about, from the robes and slippers in your room, to your own large water dispenser. The owners couldn't have been more welcoming and I felt fully refreshed after 2 days here. I will 100% be back!

What a wonderful stay we've had at Basundari, located in the beautiful Ubud area.

If you're looking for a tranquil stay in the midst of an amazing spiritual area this is definitely the place to visit. The surrounding area is beautiful and completely brings you back in touch with nature.

I needed a break from the busy Canggu and the Basundari villa was the best choice! So far the best place I stayed in Ubud!

The room was impeccable with a gorgeous view of the jungle which made the stay super relaxing! Right next to my room there is a yoga barn with all the essentials you would need.
The decoration as you can see from the pictures is absolutely beautiful and I cannot think of one single thing that is missing!

On top of a great stay, the hosts went above and beyond to ensure I was ok and happy. I even forgot my phone charger and they sent it via GoJek!

Honestly, a great stay! Thank you Berend and team at Basundari!

We had a wonderful time at Basundari. What a beautiful resort! It has everything you need to relax. Beautiful nature, beautiful rooms, top yoga facilities and everyone from the Basundari family is so very sweet! We'll be back for sure!
