A must visit local food when you are in Sanur. It is inexpensive,ex: one portion of huge rice+veggies+fried chicken is 17k! They also have ice tea and orange (each 5k). The concept is much alike Warteg in Jawa. Lots of foreigner comfortably eats here. A bit spicy for me, but overall it is worth every penny

Very affordable and delicious Indonesian food. Every time we are in Sanur we make sure to stop by. Beware: If you are European/ American/ etc. this might be too spicy if you are not used to it.

Amazing and affordable way to try out different types of food. We loved everything we had. It is open 24h and it deserves the popularity. We were also warned of a very hot dish, so I appreciate it very much.

This place made us feel like we were experiencing the Balinese culture and cuisine. Lots of options to choose from with plenty of vegetarian options. Tables were clean and the staff welcoming.
Just be mindful that the food can be quite spicy even for people who enjoy spicy food.

Clean and very authentic Sumatran cuisine. No fluff, the service is what you would expect from a ‘Kopitiam’ style restaurant. This is the kind of spot locals would go to have some dinner at a regular price. Standard serve is 1 rice to 3 curries. You can however add whatever you want to the plate - you might need someone to translate so you know whats what.

Very good and tasty food. Nice and spicy. This is a great place to eat local food at a good price. Two of us had a big plate each for about $7 AUD. Spicy chicken, green beans, tofu and sates.
