We spend 1 night in Sukamade. Having great experience to see big turtle (about 100 kg, 1 m long) lay egg. Next morning release baby turtle to see. We come with big family, 24 pp, age 3 - 82. We have succchhh great experience especially for kids. Do recommend

The adventure in Sukamade starts from the green shop. Which has a travel time of 3 hours from Banyuwangi city.

From the green shop, the journey continues for 1.5 hours to the Sukamade beach homestay using a 4WD car.

Around 8pm, we were all gathered for a briefing by the senior ranger. Be clear about what is allowed and not allowed while watching the turtle encounter process.

After the briefing, all tourists, both local and foreign, walked to the beach to watch the turtles lay their eggs.
That night, we only saw 1 turtle laying eggs.

FYI, in Sukamade the electricity only turns on at 5-12 at night. The rest uses solar cells. And there is no internet network connection.

Petualangan di sukamade di mulai dari warung ijo. Yang memiliki waktu tempuh 3 jam dari Banyuwangi kota.

Dari warung ijo, perjalanan dilanjutkan selama 1.5 jam menuju homestay pantai sukamade menggunakan mobil 4WD.

Selesai dibriefing, seluruh wisatawan baik lokal ataupun asing berjalan menuju pantai untuk menyaksikan penyu bertelur.
Malam itu, kita cuma menyaksikan 1 penyu yang bertelur.
Puncak penyu bertelur, bulan juli dan agustus.

FYI, di sukamade listrik hanya menyala pukul 5-12 malam. Selebihnya menggunakan solar cell. Dan tidak ada koneksi jaringan internet.
