Me and my family stayed here for one night, and then Mr Haddi took us to the turtle reserve for one night by jeep. He also took us to the nearby beach, and to green bay. Each part of our stay was exciting and new to us. The beaches were how you imagine the beaches in Bali to be before the tourists came, they were perfectly clean and beautiful. Seeing the turtles lay eggs at night was a fantastic experience as well! All in all Mr Haddi and his wife took great care of us, and we would love to come here again sometime!

Pak Poer is a great host, the place is cozy and the room is clean. Only 10 min walks from the Rawegbesi beach and fishermen's village where my 12 years old daughter, my husband and I had a great time enjoying the gentle waves and chatting with fishermen. We had a once-a-lifetime experience seeing the green turtle laying eggs at Sukamade beach inside Meru Betiri national park, and seeing the milky way (we call it Bima Sakti in the Indonesian language) and moonrise all at the same night. Incredible experience. The trip was arranged by Pak Poer.

We arrived here after 2 hours drive and had the most welcoming reception. The host is kind, attentive to your requests and needs. He organised our trip to sukamade beach where we were lucky to see green turtles and release baby turtles to the sea. On our return the host brought us fesh coconuts with ice to cool off. I can only recommend this place and would suggest to stay here for a few days and fully enjoy and explore this beautiful area.

Very beautiful place.. the atmosphere is still natural. Away from the city noise and close to the beach. The service is very friendly and the quality is international class.

I had the most incredible time at Java Turtle Lodge. Mr Poer was fantastic to communicate with before arrival and he went above and beyond during my stay. His wife's cooking was incredible and they catered to my vegan diet with tasty local dishes for each meal.
I was lucky enough to see the flowering dragonfruits at the neighbours farm at night time and visited local fishing villages and beaches. Mr Poer was more than happy to take me around and show me all the local spots as well. I booked a jeep to go to Sukamade to the turtle conservation and learned all about the turtles and the work the rangers do. I saw the turtles lay their eggs at night released the baby turtles the next morning- fabulous experience!

The rooms at the lodge were large, clean and comfortable and the garden was wonderful to relax in as well.

I was the only one at the lodge but could not have felt more welcomed and surrounded by the wonderful locals.

Cannot recommend Java Turtle Lodge and Mr Poer's hospitality enough!

A really wonderful stay. The room is nice and clean, good Indonesian breakfast. The owners are very kind and helpful. ????

Look how cool the experience i got from this trip. I visit on the best time and the people there were so nice, the places on the trip are beautiful.
You need to experience it too.
