Shared house with the most colourful character in Palau Merah for sure.
A short walk to the beach, a scenic landscape with one of the best beach breaks on the planet when it really works.

Dave is a great host, fun guy and interesting to talk with. With beds are super comfy, the ac is cold and breakfast is filling and delicious.
I highly recommend his place after staying in place it may be a tad further ftom the beach by road but there is a shortcut out back to a deserted section of gorgeous beach. Ive stayed there a few times and will look forward to returning.

A true homestay. I've never felt like I was sharing a house as much as I did here.
A double edged sword, for sure. Not as clean or as tidy as an empty bungalow (because, you know, people actually live here), but with loads of character.
Even though you're a five minute walk from a nice quiet beach, where you can surf till your heart's content, the real attraction of this homestay has to be David.
He knows how to make you feel at ease, and provides all the hospitality you could ever ask for.
A quiet, dark room with AC makes sure you'll sleep like a prince.

Super comfortable beach/surf stay run by the most welcoming host you could ask for. Expect to eat well while staying right by glorious white sand Red Island beach. Love this place!

we had an amazing time at pulau merah. Davo fully took care of us. The rooms and the food are amazing. It feels like home. The host is a cool dude. 2 mins junglewalk only to the beach.

The best homestay in East Java .....super friendly host ....great food .....hot shower ...WIFI ........AC ....and fans throughout ..... 300 metres from the beach .....what more would you want .......?????

Very close to the beach, warm showers, Bintang and Dave the host is very welcoming
