The Royal Santrian Luxury Beach Villas

We stayed at this beautiful and quiet beach front villa 5 days/4 nights. We enjoyed daily beautiful sea views and delicious breakfast and afternoon tea. There was a wedding on Sunday and we were afraid the ceremony would be too loud..... However, the wedding didn't really affect anything...we didn't hear anything in our villa. The manager was very kind to offer us free transportation to other place while the wedding was held. He also provided another villa for us to rest and shower before we went to the airport after we checked out from our own villa. We have stayed at different villas and hotels in Bali but this villa is the best. We would love to come back again with more relatives and friends.

We had a fantastic time at the Royal Santrian. The entire resort is beautiful and quiet, which is what we were after. The villas are very large and the outdoor space and pool are also wonderful. Finally, the staff was friendly and we were very satisfied with the offered breakfast (props to the kitchen for serving delicious fresh juices, good coffee and home made waffles and pancakes rather than industrial ones).

Looking at the previous reviews, we were afraid that the resort would be aged and not in prime condition. While it is true that the villas would benefit from some renovation, the overall condition of the hotel is good and more than fair for the price paid.

If we had to fault something, it would be the following points: (a) the music at the bar on the beach which is completely unnecessary and breaks the calm and relaxing vibe of the hotel (also when seating on the restaurant outside we can hear both the restaurant and the bar music together which is annoying), (b) the pillows in the room which are uncomfortable (they are too high) and (c) the lack (or ineffectiveness) of measures to prevent mosquitoes. We continuously had a lot of mosquitoes in the villa and outside it, and were bitten dozens of times. We have travelled many times to exotic destinations but we never had that much issues with mosquitoes in the past. The hotel should implement better measures to tackle this structurally.

Not usually one to review, but the Royal Santrian impressed me so much. The food was the best of the holiday. One lady named Prada really made the visit memorable. Will definitely come back.

Had a day-pass there. Nice pool, very quiet, good food, friendly staff, close to the beach. Had a very nice day and good value for money. Would definetey recommend the day-pass there!

This hotel is so amazing every attention to detail is woww. The staff are so friendly they go above and beyond they made our honeymoon so amazing we are already missing this hotel. Thank you so much to the whole team you all so amazing ???????????????????????? sanj and sim

Had a wonderful 4 days and 3 nights there. Friendly staff, gorgeous place. Only wish they had a more extensive food menu.
