My husband and I stayed for 3 nights here. Our whole stay was fine, and that was me being very generous. We could tell that the majority of the staff are new and still in training. They barely speak English so my husband who doesn’t speak bahasa, had a lot of difficulties when he needs to ask for something. I can speak bahasa so that wasn’t a big issue for us albeit annoying. The bigger issue was the hair dryer that they provided in the room had a crack on the back side grill (see picture) and I didn’t think it was gonna be a big problem until I used it and my wet hair got stuck in it. Not only that I had to cut some part of my hair to get them free but more importantly, it was a safety hazard as there was a risk of getting electrical shock had I not stopped sooner. I could’ve known better before using it, I agree, but the hotel should’ve also been careful keeping something broken like that for the guests to use. Another issue that we have was their supposed “king bed” was actually 2 twin beds put together and covered with a king bed sheet. It was very uncomfortable to sleep on during the night as it would often separate out and was hurting our back. The room, the private plunge pool and the hotel itself are large and beautiful, too bad the service that they gave was poor. I’m never going to stay there ever again and I’m NOT recommending it to anyone.
