We really struggled to find constructive reviews for maya sayang when booking and took a risk and it was so well worth it. Here are a few points for those considering to stay here:

Villas : clean, spacious with a fantastic pool. In some images of the hotel I was afraid that the pool was more of a hot-tub but it’s roughly 12 meters which was more than enough for us. Their is a small kitchen with all the essentials, a 4 seat dining table, a lounge area that can seat 5 people, 2 sun loungers and finally two treatment benches for any private massages you book. The decor is authentic with dark woods and loads of natural textures which we love. We came across reviews regarding lack of maintenance however I don’t agree. If your looking for a high gloss, white skandi vibe sure that’s not it but overall the villas are beautiful in their own way.

Service: smiling faces all around, super helpful staff to make the stay welcoming and as comfortable as possible. They set up mosquito repellents at night in the villa as well as fumigate outside the villas. The the kind of place you don’t feel awkward for asking for help.

Location: central yet intimate. I have no idea how but the villas are behind a bustling main street in seminyak that has so many shops, restaurants and cafes yet so peacefully quiet and private. You can get away with staying here without a car or bike and be able to walk everywhere. But if you did need a cab or bike there are plenty a stone throw away. The beach club furthest is FINNS which a 24 minute drive.

Highly recommend Maya sayang to those after a villa holiday without the service comprised.

Great stay in Maya Sayang. Friendly staff and good service.
Villa is spacious, big pool and even spa beds for your spa at home experiences. Maintenance seems to be good. The room is nice and specious as well, only the airco we dont like; straight on your bed/head.
Wifi is not stable, which means this place is not suitable for people who depend on reliable internet connection (traders, online commerce, remote workers etc).
Location is excellent, in the middle of oberoi, centre of the centre.
Maya has their own restaurant and some great items on the menu. During our stay there was a good cocktail promo but since I was not feeling well I could only drink a few. The mojito is my favourite. Dont expect topnotch cocktails but good value for money.
Enough choice for breakfast and roomservice dine-in. Breakfast always fresh and well prepared, delivered on time.

Excellent Pool Villa in the heart of Seminyak!

Staff were excellent with outstanding communication and a fantastic attitude.

We will definitely be booked again!!

Huge villa at an affordable price! The price included breakfast and dinner, how generous. But sorry to say, the breakfast just so-so. But there were great restaurants within walking distance. Also La Favela is there, hellow party goers, are you there? This place is very fit for a long term stay. If you want to be alone, lonely in a huge place, but can party at night, this place is perfect.

This place is gem, just a minute away from the busy road of Seminyak but yet can feel tranquil in their villas, very neat, clean and the staff was stunning! They treat us like family. The restaurant is the must for you who want tasty food, good music (house), and private ambience.
