I was looking around for a good barber in Canggu, and ended up going to Mandate. 10/10, I recommend Mandate!
I didn't know what I was going to, and dropped in without an appointment. There was a bit of a wait because both barbers were busy, and there was another customer in line before me, but I wasn't deterred, as I expected to wait without an appointment.
I got Ahmad as my barber, and he is AMAZING.
Asked what I wanted, I told him what I was looking to do, and after some further control by Ahmad to see how close of a fade I wanted, and how much to take off the top, we were in business.
Ahmad works smoothly, and I felt comfortable the entire time I was in his chair. I really feel like he took good care to give a quality haircut, as well as making sure it would look great growing out. There were no stragglers to be found (hairs that missed the cut), and it looked SMOOTH and sharp after. I was super happy with the cut, and the beard trim. In fact, I was so happy about it that I came back the week after so that Ahmad could make me look good before I went back to work after my vacation.
I loved the cut, loved the trim, and I loved the straight razor clean up to sharpen my beard. My gf also loved what he had done, so it's a 10/10 from me!
Don't hesitate to give your trust to Ahmad, he knows what he's doing, and I'd go here weekly if I didn't live on the other side of the globe.
