Good service and safe. Many mafia taxi so You have to be careful and don't be tempted by cheap prices. Grab taxi is the best solution for your journey from the airport and include insurance for your journey with Grab.

Went to the Grab lounge with the impression I'd be able to use their wifi and book a car.
The attendant said there's no wifi and the fare to south kuta is 166k IDR. I checked online before leaving for Bali and it was 68k IDR .
The app said 123k IDR.
Ended up bargaining with a local driver from 150k to 100k.

Press X to doubt "1 star for EXPENSIVE". Will Grab that shows you the fee when you book be more expensive, or the taxi mafia that harress you onto their cars and then try to claim "their meter is broken" be more expensive?

Even if Grab is more expensive (it is not), if you are reading this review, you are probably planning a vacation to Bali. When I go on holiday I'd gladly pay a little more for the accountability and reliability that Grab provides.

Getting harressed by the taxi mafia as my first interaction with the locals honestly soured my mood and poisoned my perception of the people here for a couple of days, I wished I had gone to the lounge immediately.

19th September 2022. No WiFi and sales of SIM cards as claimed in Grab Indonesia website. Overcharge 66% with Grab staff at Bali airport using his mobile to book a grabcar. Beware of the not honest Grab or grab not honest practice at Grab lounge at Bali airport

WORST PERSON I MET IN BALI. Extremely selfish staff. They offered me 150k for just a 2 km trip to my homestay and noticed that it was because of the airport fee. But the fee is actually 10k. The female staff Then kicked me out of the lounge and not allowed me to charge my dead phone as I did not use their service.

Grab is outstanding. I always use Grab rather than the rip off taxis.
