Clean hotel with good showers and toilet facilities which are sort of en suite to the dorms which is good.

There are a couple of fans and AC in the dorms which meant it was nice and cool.

There is a good social space too.

Perhaps a little further out than some to the main strip but we had bikes so this was not a problem.

Good value for money overall.

The ladies who work here are fantastic. The hostel itself is clean, stylish and felt very safe. Down a little alley way about a 20min walk from the beach, this is the perfect place to enjoy all Kuta has to offer without being right in the thick of it.

Nice little hostel a short drive from the airport! Friendly staff, clean rooms and bathrooms, free breakfast featuring... bread and (homemade) jam! Their jam was seriously delicious. Homemade kombucha too!

I have stayed in many hostels but this place is special. It's a perfect little retreat from the hustle and bustle of central Kuta. Beautiful, chilled out ambience, spotlessly clean and super relaxed. It's about ten mins walk from the beach, far enough away for a sound nights sleep in the spacious airconditiined rooms. The staff are great, always on hand for advice and the breakfasts give you a nice start to the day. You wont want to leave.

I stayed here for a week because of the location - in Kuta, but away from the main hustle and bustle touristy area. It's located down a quiet stone street walking distance from grocery marts, an ATM, and delicious food.

The all-female dorm was kept clean and had A/C, however on two occasions we were out of toilet paper, the shower never had hot water, and we ran out of hand soap at one point. All the beds had curtains that pulled the whole way so you have 100% privacy, but if you slept on the bed I slept on, you could still see the light shining from the lounge area outside the dorm. I would suggest adding a curtain to the entry door that could be closed in the evening.

Breakfast is simple and includes two fresh fruits, an assortment of bread rolls, regular bread, and homemade jams. They also have free homemade kombucha. The rotating staff are very friendly although don't speak English very well so it was a little tough to get some information.

The Wi-Fi is very slow and took me 3 days to upload a few hundred photos to Google Drive. The lounge area is nice and there is a TV to watch cable or movies from their selection. They also have a books left behind by travelers and a shared toiletries basket if any travelers wanted to donate their sunscreen, repellent, shampoo, etc. for others to use.

If you hand wash your laundry there's an area upstairs to hang it to dry.

I would stay again for the location and price, but not for much else.

Love my stay here. Awesome public lounge area with TV and Wi-Fi.
-No bed bugs
-Hot shower available
-motorbike and bicycle rental available
-ferry arrangements to neighbouring islands can be made
-shuttle bus arrangements can be done
-free breakfast of ... yeah you guessed it bread and jam available
-secluded and away from city noise but accessible to many amenities
-10-15mins drive from airport, even faster on ojek

Bead u0026 jam hostel

I stayed at this wonderfully quite hostel located close to the airport for just under a week to rest u0026 recuperate after a few months hard travel u0026 what a lovely experience I had..

ROOMS
I stayed in both an air conditioned dorm u0026 private room. The dorm beds where super comfy, they had privacy curtains with light u0026 plug socket they also had an en suite bathroom.
The private rooms are located upstairs. I had the 2 bunk private so it’s great for travellers whom are friends u0026 would like some privacy. Air conditioning u0026 private bathroom was super welcome..

COMMON AREAS
The main area is semi open affair with verticale garden at the back, sofa u0026 tv in the centre, kitchen u0026 tables are the front with reception.
The kitchen is large u0026 has a fridge to store your food if you have had enough of eating out. Free kombucha, tea u0026 coffee are available 24hours a day.
I met a lot of liked minded people in the main areas it was a super friendly traveller hostel where you meet interesting characters that are not the usual party animals that you get in other areas of Kuta.
I have to stay that one of the owners whom I met multiple times in the morning was super kind u0026 very interesting to talk with she will definitely make your mornings great here when she is around.

SERVICES
So as the name suggests bread u0026 jam for breakfast of-course with some extras like fruit. I also loved the homemade jams that the owner was making like the pineapple u0026 ginger also the peanut butter that her mother was making. they where all divine.

LOCATION
Located about 5mins taxi ride from the airport in Kuta it’s well off the main strip this gives it a more local felling where you can try authentic street food u0026 buy fruits from locals. if your just arriving or leaving Bali this is the best place to stay without a doubt.
