Always enjoy my stay here, very cozy room. I got the bigger private room and it was spacious!! Space is very valuable when staying in a hostel. Lots of shower and toilets so you don't have to hustle with everyone else staying there. Also, don't skip the breakfast, it's great! The location is a bit not close to anywhere really, but not really a problem since you can just use online transport apps. The surrounding has a lot of history and ethnic places, blending with the locals and has a LOT of food stalls.

The hosts here are amazing. They are very accommodating and friendly. Willing to help me get anywhere and recommended the best places to me. Though I was travelling alone, Bhumi Hostel has never made me feel lonely. It really feels like home in a foreign land.

Really recommended for you to stay here !!

I loved my stay at Bhumi Hostel.
The best things about it are the terrace, the garden and the fresh breakfast in the morning!
The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful.
It‘s a really chilled atmosphere there, you should definitely give it a try :-)

First off, love the location in Kotagede, very hipster area with tons of authentic eateries. They have great workout space at the back with calisthenic bars and cray heavy battle rope! Amazing breakfast and I really appreciate the community initiatives they do with nearby school and Animal Friends Jogja.

Great vegan comfort food breakfast, clean comfy bed, and pretty chill terrace area.

Definitely will come back!!

Great Hostel! There's a nice Garden and a lot space where you can hangout with others. Generally the atmosphere here is great and the host Jack is a really nice guy. There's also WiFi, good breakfast, a washing machine and free water, it's clean as well and the beds are fine. Two dogs and two cats are running around but they are cool.

A Great place to stay if you like a quiet and peaceful day and night, all the staff is really nice and friendly. I wish they had more private room Hahaha, but the dorms room is great, clean and cozy better than others backpacker hostel I've ever been (*please add some curtains for space in between :D that would be nice) and If you're vegan you'll love the food that taste amazingly good. And if that's not enough you can walk outside there is a lot of food vendors in the morning, at noon and night near Taman Karang :D

Amazing permaculture garden, eco friendly, and perfect place to relax. Delicious vegan comfort food breakfast. Hands down the best hostel in Yogyakarta. When you stay here, spend some time exploring the old market and street food right in front of the hostel.
