I can definitely recommend this place. They offer a great variety of vegan and vegetarian options. The service was quite fast und friendly and the restaurant including the toilets is very modern and clean.
The only thing to consider, if you order the vegan steak you should get extra fries on the side otherwise you will be left hungry. For the traditional dishes portions were big enough.
I would definitely go there again!

Ambience is nice. Food overall was okay. But:

- the labelling is inconsistent. Items that are clearly vegetarian are labeled as vegan
- kitchen was pretty slow . Despite there only being us two of us in the entire restaurant, they didn't manage to bring our orders out at the same time and we each had to eat on our own
- the breakfast labelling could be improved. Unclear what's vegetarian and what isn't. Also the vegetarian selection could be improved.

Saw this on happy cow and was disappointed, dishes were overpriced and really small portions. Fried tofu was underwhelming, the tempe dish was good but not worth the price. The labelling was also inconsistent with dishes labelled vegan actually vegetarian. Black forest vegan Cafe which is not far from here is better priced and tastier.

This place is marketed as a vegan and vegetarian friendly restaurant inside the green host hotel. Yes, they do you have extensive labeling in their menu! They even have a section for vegan dishes! Unfortunately, that section only has three dishes where as the meat and fish man you have seven, eight dishes per category. It was very disappointing. The vegan dishes offered were also pretty disappointing, and nothing special. They included vegetable fried rice and an expensive plate of mashed potatoes. I did love the vegetable tempura! But I don’t think it’s vegan. The broccoli soup was just OK, and seems expensive. It was priced the same as a full main course. The beverages are also the same cost as main courses. Lastly, the portions are ridiculously small! The glass noodle salad was pathetic. The only dish that was a fair size was the special duck burger on a charcoal bun, which my partner ordered. But even that came with four sad potato wedges, when the menu said it came with a big side of potatoes.

Find this place by accident. I was planning to have dinner to other place, and it was in this hotel.
I decided to stay because it's very nice place. The location is in swimming pool area. First I was sitting next to the pool, but the chemical of the pool smells so strong, so I moved a bit far from the pool, well the restaurant isn't that big, so i still could smells it.
Anyway, I still love the place .. it's very cozy and the friendly staffs.
A bit pricey though, but of course it's a hotel. We pay the atmosphere, isn't?
Cake variations wasn't that much, they had only two : brownies and pancake.
I chose brownies because it's for a surprise cake to my daughter.
I ordered bitter ballen and Iga soup, my daughter ordered Crab burger.
The taste of the food weren't that good, and the orange juice were just tasteless.
And the size of the orange juice was quite disappointed.. it's too small.
But, as I said before we paid the atmosphere of the place.
And I wanna say thank you for the staffs who sang a birthday song.
I appreciate it ❤️

For our holiday we stayed in the Greenhost Boutique Hotel in Yogyakarta.
The food in the hotel is provided by the Art Kitchen. At the top floor of the eco-concenscious hotel, grow a lot of vegetables, which are harvested every day and used in the Art Kitchen.

We highly recommend to sign up for the traditional Indonesian cooking course / class / workshop that the Greenhost hotel’s Art Kitchen can organize for you. It was an amazing experience where we made; gado gado, bami goreng, nasi goreng, lettuce crackers, peanut sauce and sambal sauce.

We also had breakfast and dinner at the hotel’s Art Kitchen, and both were extensive and delicious!

This place has the most beautiful indoor view in town. The place was super cozy and the food is nice.
One thing that upset me is the price of some food. Tempeh steak(which is literally just tempeh and nothing else) have the same price as a large grilled duck.
