Friendly service at the entrance... But then all waiters kept avoiding me for a good 10 minutes... Until the supervisor arrived to take my order. Locals only here, I'm guessing nobody dared speaking English with me. When I ordered lobster the second manager came by to make sure I had the money to pay. Darn. I'm dressed all right today ????.

Food wise... Solid 4, lobster au beurre was okay, a little dry and didn't have the fresh ocean taste you expect from a recently captured creature... Shrimps jimbaran were all right, I bet they were not swimming in open waters in the last few days.

I really liked the different sauces you can chose at the sambal [sauce] bar, especially the sambal mata?, So rich in flavor.

Overall good experience, a little pricey for Indonesia but a good stop on my way home.

The best seafood restaurant in Jakarta so far, salted egg shrimp very yummy. The resto is very big n nice, but you have to come early because they have limited parking lot unless you want to use vallet

The dishes, specially Kenari Crab and king crab alaska was quite good, not from live crab but from frozen, they still have the taste of the frozen food, may be if from live seafood would taste better????, other dishes were all yummy, specially the grilled fish (sukang) and steam kerang kampak, they were so delicious, little bit pricy here but if you like to try rare seafood it's worthed to try it here.. service was good, all staff were friendly and helpful, place was clean and ambience was very comforting..

The food are great

The price are fair, if you're not ordering expensive items like kerapu, crab or lobster ????

The service are good

But there are two flies keep on bothering our lunch (dont know where the flies comes from) even though the place are tidy, clean, and air conditioned

The toilet are also clean and tidy

Been going to Layar in Surabaya everytime I got the chance. Now finally coming to Jakarta branch. Great food as always. Service is a bit slow compared to the one in Surabaya. Went here close to CNY, and they put a 30% premium on some products like crabs, lobster, and prawn...

One of seafood resto in west jakarta, I’m so excited to visitting here. The place is comportable to family, meeting and have nice room design. The price of food is expensive. Have clean toilet, comportable prayer room. You can choose indoor and outdoor place.

Service is what I am paying top dollar for in this place, absolutely professional and fast service. Even with masks I can sense the servicemen and women are all smiles when dealing with the toughest demands from customers ????..... Hence, don't expect the bill to be cheap... It's worth every penny.

Everything on the menu is spectacular. We blindly point and pick our dinner choices and we are all pleasantly surprised.

They follow all possible hygiene protocols.

And quite importantly to me personally, their restrooms are tidy and clean, I can't say this to many other seafood restaurants.

And oh..... Must try their crabs ????..... But do skip their expensive Kenari Tree crab.....

Kenari crab meat is small for it's size, dry and tough....doesnt taste as good as their cheaper cousins.
