Was expecting great Italian food because of the generally high reviews it had. However, there wasn't much to write home about when it finally came.
Ordered the Margherita pizza and Carbonara Pasta with Smoked Beef. We got the Lime and Mint Breeze for our drinks.
Pizza was mediocre at best. It was slightly dry and we couldn't taste the tomato, which I think comes from the lack of sauce.
The pasta flavor was good, but the pasta noodle itself was quite mushy and lacks the springy texture.
The drink fortunately was delightful and very refreshing.

The food took AGES to come out. I attended a webinar while dining there and the webinar finished first before the food even came. The pesto spaghetti was bland. The chocolava took so long to come out and the worst part, it was FROZEN. It’s like they took that long just to freeze it more ????u200d♀️ the only decent thing was the juicy and delicious sausage they serve on the spaghettis.

Smoked beef carbonara is too salty. Baked rice Salmon is too soft u0026 mushy.

Strength: delicious peperoni pizza, classic spaghetti, so-so price.
Weakness: bad manner in terms of service. The waiter took out all of our dishes with no words spoken out of his mouth meanwhile we still sat there with cup of Americano. What a poor service.

Popolamama restaurant at Aeon Mall BSD is designed to blend into the Mall. has a wide view towards the open space inside the Mall. the main menu is home made pizza, spaghetti, galangal chicken and is equipped with ample parking facilities so this restaurant is worth a visit. equipped with clean Mall toilets. Standard health protocols have also been implemented.
