The botanical gardens is found over a large hilly area that would be difficult to walk around due to distance. Many of the more impressive sites are currently closed due to covid which significantly reduces the value of visiting this site. Note that this is more of a picnic garden than tourism garden. Go to the blooms nearby for a more touristy garden at a similar entry fee

Large botanical garden and a good place go visit in Bedugul. Entrance fee is reasonable (25k / 35k during week days / weekends).

Staff is very friendly and you can enjoy guided tours, e-scooter tours, or rent an e-bike or regular bicycle for affordable prices.

Only reason it isn't 5 stars is that when I came it wasn't very well maintained. A lot of the info boards are very old and damaged, some were illegible.

There were also a few exhibits closed "due to covid" but I think it's just because maintenance is lacking.

Highlights: big tree, prehistoric plant garden, beautiful tropical forest.

It was raining a lot. The shuttle service took us to various points. The cactus garden was locked. The orchids were not in bloom.
The begonia unit was awesome. Beautiful landscaping with vibrant colours and hundreds of varieties of plants. All under one roof.

????Leave your motorbike at the parking(5k), pay the entrance fee(20k on weekdays or 30k on weekend) or you can drive your car inside for specific destination.
Bicycle or scooter is for rent. Shuttle for additional payment.
Walks to lake view lawn is about 25min alongside beautiful forest and picnic sites.
☀️It’s slightly cooler than in Canggu or Ubud, but no cold: even shorts and t-shirt will suffice. Better take your raincoat with you though. If you are leaving it in your motorbike behind on the parking, you can always enjoy rainy time in gazebo.

Big, full of green. Could be cold but so fresh.
Really good for any type of gathering. From a small family picnic, to a concert class celebration.
No they provide minibus shuttle, scooter bike and also bycycle to rent.
The ticket fee is getting higher due the new management, but still it worth all the journey.
Also great for prewedding session that cost around 1 million rupiah for the location fee.

Big garden with differentiated areas to explore and picnic. suggest to bring some packed food and drinks and a mat to really enjoy the botanical gardens. Cars can drive all the way inside the gardens so you don’t have to walk too far. We went around 11am and the weather was clear.

Different from kebun raya Bogor that I have been visited, you can ride your car all through the place. So you won't feel tired. This kebun raya is belong to BRIN, Indonesian research institution. Has many plant collection and decorated beautifully with a lot of statue, just like Balinese tradition. The best part is there are bedugul lake view. Yes, you can see the lake from kebun raya Bali. A beautiful view!!. There are some food stall so you won't be starving if you don't bring food. The ticket is 40k rupiahs, worth it with the fresh air and beautiful scenery. Hopefully I can go back there soon
