Good for the price. Room isn't brand new and not maintained well. It is clean but needs maintenance on the water marks and the AC. Common areas are musty and carpets need cleaning.

Strange to find mosquitoes finding their way in through the toilet vent (I think). The room windows do not open.

There's not much sound proofing. So you can hear people talking in the next room and outside the door.

I'm giving it 4 stars for the price, the fact that I'm traveling alone and it's proximity to the strip of happening restaurants and cafes right across the street. WiFi speed is good at 4.7 Mb/sec.

The classic and home atmosphere make this hotel great. Quite friendly staffs for Surabaya standard. A reasonable and quite cheap fnb price. However I can still see bags of laundry and dirty dishes on the hallway.

I got discount price of 313K Rupiahs for Business Double Bed, with breakfast. At first they gave me a superior room, which I didn't know before I opened the room, and it was small, not like in the photo. But the housekeeper that I met worked fast with calling the receptionist and went to lobby to got me the key himself.
The business room was okay, but the handheld shower didn't work. Even the engineering guy came and it still didn't work. But it's okay because we can use the raindrop/ceiling shower. Sadly the guys that came to (try to) repair the handheld shower didn't clean our bathroom as their shoes bring soil to the bathroom floor. I cleaned it myself ????
The breakfast was "nasi kotak", sent to our room. It got rice, chicken, veggies, and papaya.

The location was superb, though. Tunjungan’s sidewalk is wide and it got many stores, many old historical buildings, and just very alive at night. The hotel is also at walking distance to Tunjungan Plaza (said to be the second largest mall in Indonesia).

Nice place, located in the heart if Tunjungan, very strategic and near to historical places in Surabaya. Vintage interiors and furniture. Service is good.

If you want a hotel with indonesian culture..this is i recomanded place...cagar budaya build at Jalan Tunjungan

Budget hotel. Didnt like the experience. The hotel had a weird smell. The bathroom was not clean.

a bit below my expectations, the bed cover was not the good bed cover, the room wasn't really cozy enough for a hotel, so many noisy from the hall, but overall its pretty ok
