Probably the only Irish Pub in town. Great atmosphere. Part of the legendary Hotel Majapahit, located in the main thoroughfare, Jalan Tunjungan. Live band on weekends (check the schedule before visit, during pandemic there might be some changes)

It's a pretty good bar! I like the ambience of it. It's rather an old school bar, with some old school song. The price is not that high too, considering it's in 5stars hotel. I'll definitely visit here more in the future!

This pub is ok. I didn't go to any others in Surabaya so I can't compare. Service was good. But the pub is bit dark and dingy.

I thought that because it was part of a hotel it would be very upscale, but it was nice and full of locals with a good atmosphere. Only thing is it was incredibly smokey, nearly everybody was smoking.

The Maj in Surabaya is an amazing place. Stumbled upon this gem of a place in the historic old Majapahit Hotel basically in search of strong Wifi to download updates to a pair of new phones. Our accommodation at the time was a trashy , seedy old place up the north end of town near the docks. This was a perfect example of 2 older style places, 1 had been let go with no maintenance or housekeeping skills, the Hotel Majapahit on the other hand had benefited greatly from attention over the years and is now a historic attraction. The Bar was clean, functional, efficient in service with happy energetic staff. Drinks flowed well into the night. Keenly priced, free Billiards table and an ambiance that remains strong in mind. Will return ????????????
