Since i was new at this town, so i wanted to try some of the foods. I knew this place because i saw a picture from an instagram account that talk about the food. I went there with some of my friends and ordered some dishes like in the pictures below (i forget the exact name of each one of those, but those are some kind of Nasi goreng and mie goreng). But what i remember to be the winner was Nasi goreng krengsengan which unfortunately i didn't take a photo of. It was totally my first time trying that dish, very flavorful. The only concern was of course the amount of oil and this also not a fancy comfortable looking place so deal with it. But i recommend you to at least try once.

This place is never deserted because their food is delicious. From it is still only a gerobak dukduk keliling until it has their own spot here on the Ondomohen Street, that is why its famous name is Mie Ondomohen, my family and i really like their food. I suggest you to try their fried noodle and fried rice, yummy!

We ended up trying the mie goreng (fried noodles) here after a recommendation by a local. The area of the restaurant might not be the cleanest place in town but the taste of the food makes up to this inconvenience. You have some chairs right next to where the food is being cooked for you to have your meal or you could stand and have your meal. Simple but extraordinary flavours.

Authentic nasi goreng.. i think this nasi goreng is the most delicious nasi goreng in surabaya!

savory classic javanese noodle and fried rice ala surabaya. been here since decades.

Best traditional fried rice and mie in town, they served the food in a small corner of the street, they have lotsa menu

Pro tips : bit hard to park the car, but you can enter the small street and park your car inside
