Feel like childhood stay. Kind staff, especially the duty manager who was in charge on the night of 12 July gave me tea bags and sugar bags when I had stomachache due to have chilly pecel outside hotel. Thank you Mr Duty Manager, apologize forget his name.

I've been visiting Hotel Elmi since I was a kid, living in Surabaya. Mostly for dining at its famous, legendary Coffee Shop which is famous among the locals. It used to open 24 hours before the pandemic.

Any way, I stayed here again two weeks ago mid of March 2022 when I visited Surabaya. My previous visit was in 2012, ten years ago. The hotel is old, but still well maintained and had been renovated. The room I stayed in was clean, comfy although the furniture could be refurbished. TV, AC, Wi-Fi were working properly, although there were no safe deposit box and you need to request for refrigerator in advance if you need one.

What I love the most about the hotel is the food. My favorite for a very long time. Almost everything in the menu is delicious. The Western Food, the Chinese everything suit my taste well. The local foods they offered are also delicious and taste authentic. The breakfast buffet is also great. They don't have many options but everything taste delicious. There were rawon, fried rice, a vegetable dish, fried chicken, a potato dish, waffles, pancakes, bread, chicken porridge and slice fruits. I've tried them all and love love love the so much.

Most likely I will stay at Hotel Elmi again the next time I'm in town.

The room is a bit old but it maintain greatly. The staff is friendly, the food is delicious.
There's gym, yoga classes and pool too. As for the gym you can be member yearly or monthly or even just one drop. As a member you can go to the gym as much as you like, it's incluce pool and classes.
The location is in the center of the city, and can be acses by the main street.

Only visites the coffee shop for its famous Rawon and Sop Buntut. Super satisfied with the taste and fell off the bone meats

Restaurant not so crowded . Sop buntut(ox tail soup) very delicious. Appetizer such as fried tofu etc also nice.

All about the hotel was very good. But the receptionis with the short hair, really unfriendly. Got me bad mood.
