Legendary Surabaya meatball and fish ball soup. Bring back my childhood memories. Been in the business from 1931. Simple dishes and mind the restaurant decorations. They are pretty expensive for dine in experience there. Only real arek suroboyo know what I'm talking about. Hope they keep doing the business for many years to come.

For me this food is one of a kind. The best meatball i've ever eaten.althou i kinda confuse the menu here at first (i didnt know bakwan mean meatball here). My fave is bakwan kasar. The soup is the champion , the taste you cant get anywhere else.
Ps : maybe if possible can add picture along side with the menu, so people from other city like me didnt confuse. Afterall good food with fair price for me

The taste was very good, such a "legend" restaurant. But, the price is very expensive. They only provide 1 bottle of vinegar for all of table in that room.. so pitty, vinegar bottle price is quite cheap, uncomparable with the meat ball price..

I have yet to find any bakso or bakwan for that matter that could compare to this place. Price is a bit on the pricey side but well, you get what you pay. My top recommendations would be usus kuah and bakwan kasar.

A very famous dish in Surabaya. The restaurant is spacious, has plenty of seats, huge parking area, no wifi, below average cleanliness, and has some branches all over the city.

Even though this dish is very famous among local, tasty I admit, but the price is way to expensive. Moreover the unpleasant service is actually annoying. So, I usually just do the take out rather than dine in.

Best bakwan (meatball) ever !!!! My favourites are : bakwan halus, bakwan kasar, hiwan (fishball) u0026 siomay goreng. I don't know why but the broth is really good. It's a must to visit place for me and family whenever I went to Surabaya.
